Semester Works

Island Sway (Semester Edit 2026)

Island Sway is an experimental short film about my Filipino diasporic identity, told through shared memories, traditions, and collective movement. I worked with people from the Filipino diaspora to create choreographed group scenes around culture, community, and belonging, and how these are passed down through generations. I wanted the film to show Filipinx experiences from our own perspective, beyond the stereotypes we often see.
