Conclusion
Working on these exercises made me more aware of how much my way of seeing comes from my everyday life. I realized that I mostly notice things I am already close to situations I am part of, people around me, memories, and small moments that would normally pass by. I react to what I see in the moment and to what catches my attention.Across the different themes, I noticed that similar things keep coming back in my work: pairs, closeness, materials being used, text in public spaces, and certain moods or atmospheres. For me, meaning often comes from context and personal experience rather than from clear symbols. Something that looks neutral at first can suddenly feel personal, ironic, or emotional, depending on the situation.
Through this process, I understood that my gaze is very subjective and situational. I am drawn to everyday scenes, small contradictions, and quiet observations. I don’t try to explain everything or give clear answers. I let the images stay open. My way of seeing is shaped by my surroundings, by how I move through the world, and by the attention I give to small details.
